The ideal weather which prevailed on Saturday afternoon tempted a large number of players out on to tin' links on Saturday afternoon. The fact, that tlie members of the Ladies’ Club are at present engaged in the serious business of fighting out the championship was responsible for a larger attendance then usual. The most interesting game of the afternoon was the final for the B division in the Handicap tournament, which was fought out between It. Schierning (2) and C. Alorgan (6). Schiorniiig was m good form, and played steadily on the run out, having the handy lead of 3 up at the turn. Alorgan was not showing the consistency which had carried him. through the* earlier rounds. Seliierning went on strongly, and eventually rati out a winner by the convincing margin of 0 up and 5 to play. MONTHLY MEDAL. All hands had another lilt at Colonel Bogey to decide the winner of the monthly medal. The old gentleman •was in his host form, and accounted for every man who measured strength with him, until he humped up against the local champion. G. M. Dodgsbun. The latter was in his best form, and despite all the Aviles of the Colonel succeeded in finishing up all square from scratch, and thus winning the medal. \W B. Willock, whose card, with a. handicap of L 5, showed 2 down, came second, while D. D. Potts, on the 12 mark, was third, with 3 down.
