LADIES CHAMPIONSHIP
A good many games in the first round of the championship tournament of tlie Ladies’ Club were got off last week, several of them being played on Saturday morning. The results so far are as follows: Miss Adams beat Mrs Burke. Mrs Barlow beat Miss M. do Lautour. Mrs Buscke beat Miss Reynolds. Miss Sweet beat Mrs O’Meara. . Miss King beat Aliss Nolan. Miss D. Bull beat Mrs King. Mrs Cole beat Airs Brook. There was a large attendance at tho Club bouse during the day. and afternoon tea was kindly provided by Mesdarnes jex-Blakc and W. R. B- Mullock and Miss Maclaurin.
The Champion Ball for Clmm pi unships is the Oh a lion g'T Golf Ball. The R A is the latest addition to tho Challenger family. Made in. Bramble or Dimple and white right through. An allowance is made of 6d on all used Cl i a 11 on gers.—Ad vt.
