A contract has just been let. or is about to bo let. for three months’ supplies of clothing and boots, but if we send the x wo extra battalions that we have offered to the Jmneria! Government, we will n.'-etl mere supplies than have been tendered for. Wo will, in such case, have to supplement the three months’ supplies and, at tile expiration of that time, the whole question of future supplies will have to be dealt with.”
