The New Zealand products exported during the week ending August lOth were valued as follows: Putter £1364, choose £22,305, frozen lamb £77,673, frozen mutton £118,527, frozon beef, etc. £32,688, gold £18,021, grain and pulse £1097, hides and skins £25,599, kauri gum £7,084, flax and tow £21,073, tallow £24,287, timber £5032, wool £119,348.

- Murray, Roberts and Co., Ltd., have received the following information from their London house, Messrs Sanderson, Murray and Co., under data Juno 30:— The fifth series of colonial wool sales commenced yesterday. There was a large attendance of buyers,_and active competition. As far as merino wools aro concerned; all good combing descriptions mot with keen demand, and prices, on average, ruled at 7f per cent advance on the closing rates of the previous sales. AA'asty inferior greasies and faulty poor *s: oureds showed no change. Crossbreds sold with good spirit and show an advance of 5 to 7£ per cent, most marked on fine sorts. Coarse and medium descriptions do not show the full extent of the improvement. The sixth series of sales has been fixed to commence on 7th September. The list will close on 17t.n August, or on whatever previous date 200,000 fresh arrivals are available. The total quantity for the series, after deducting the number of bales forwarded direct, and adding the number of bales bold over from last series, amounts to 232,000 bales.
