CANADIAN TRADE
DOMINION SHOULD LOOK TO BRITAIN AND AUSTRALIA
MR BRUCE’S ADVICE
OTTAWA, Jan. 5. Mr Bruce stated at the Canadian Club at Hamilton-to-day that unless Canada developed great trade connections in other directions she would become commercially raid industrially more closely linked with the united States, and' as a result find her tional aspirations inevitably undermined. Canada should look to Britain in the east and Australia in the west for an expansion of trade and industrial relations, more than xo the United States.—A. and N Z.C.A.
