SPOT,
(Received Jan. 9, 5.5 p.m.l PARIS, Jan. 7
For the first time for years, streets were without the fearsome honk associated with the Paris taxis, on the occasion of a three hours’ strike while the strikers were attending a protest meeting against the decree empowering gendarmes to fine them on the spot for minor breaches of regulations.
