EXECUTIVE MEETING

r j'he monthly meeting of the Poverty Bay executive of the X -w Zealand Farmers’ Union was held on Saturday ; present, Messrs M. T. Tr.afford (president), IT. S. Brian!. J. Hutchinson and J. E. Benson.

The question of rural credit systems was discussed and it was decided to urge the Government to adopt the full recommendations of the recent Commission.

The question of placing a distinguishing brand on all speyed cattle was discussed at length and it was decided to support a proposal urging- the Government to legislate compelling all operators to place their brand on speyed beasts.
