LONDON, Jan. 9. Hmv the loss of a railway plan ui a cab necessitated a costly expedition to Africa is recalled by the death ol Sir Francis Fox. who successfully undertook the stupendous task ol bridging Victoria Falls. Arriving in London after the survey, he drove to a restaurant, telling the cab-drPer to wait. Overtired, he dozed, and when he awoke he realised lie had left the plans in the cab. He dashed outside and found it had gone, hut the vehicle was never traced. The re-survey cost £4OOO. —Sun. .
