President Coolidge has sent a report to the Senate advocating an annual reduction, of 11,126 in immigrants after July 1, basing the miotas on the immigrants resident in United States in 1926 as against 1890. lhe new system would give the Irish Free State‘l3,B62 instead of 28.«>6g and Britain and Northern Ireland i3,03J instead of 34,007. —A.N.Z.C.A.
