On Saturday loth tin's popular company will play a five night’s season. Among the old favourites in the company is Mr. Walter Kingsley, who had the honour of being selected to appear with the Royal Philharmonic Society at the Sydney Town Hall qu October 23. “The Svdney Morning Herald” of 29/10/26 says': “At the performance of ‘The Golden Legend’ at the Town Hall, Sydney, by the Royal Philharmonic Society, Mr. Walter Kingsley, the Humphrey Bishop Go’s baritone, greatly distinguished himselm. Mr. Kingsley who sustained the part.of Lucifer, sang with great conviction and tine resonant tone, and was so effective in the opening scene that an auspicious beginning vvas thus made with the work. Mr Kingsley throughout was authoritative, forceful, and sang with clarity of tone and great distinction.” Mr. Kingsley has also made several records for the Columbia Company, and made the first' record that was actually recorded inAustralia. Among other old favorites are Mr. Humphrev Mishop, Mr. Frank Egan, Mr. George Ross. Miss Hilda Reaux, Mr. George Rox.aiul thirteen new artists Box plans are now open at Tattersal and Bayly’s. An entire change of programme will be given on Tuesday, 18th, and Thursday Jan. 20th.
