CRICKET

P.B. CRICKET. ASSOCIATION. Mr H. E. Maude presided over the following delegates at the meeting of the P.B. Cricket Association . last evening : —Messrs 11. Chriso. A. Baker, L. Greig, B. E. Gambrill, G. d. Robertson. A. C. Cooke and V. Caulton (acting secretary). An apology for absence was received from Mr V. R, C. Mitford.

It was reported that the athletic carnival, as arranged, would be held at the Oval next Saturday and therefore, there would be no senior games. Junior matches will, however, be played and the draw for these resulted : Celtic v. Civil Service at the Domain; School 'A v. School Bat the School; United a bye. Mr Chriso gave notice of motion that, owing to the lengthy programme of competition matches yet to he played, matches he not postponed on race days. This matter will be decided next week.
