BRISK DEMAND AND ADVANCED
PRICES
(Received Jan. H, 10.10' p.mj SYDNEY. Jan. 11. The wool sales, the first of the New Year series, were concluded. They were characterised throughout by a brisk demand for all the bettor classes at an advance of 5 per cent, over December closing levels.. Medium and ordinary were par to 5 per cent, higher Comebacks and crossbreds were in good request at recent levels.— U.P.A.
