DOMINION TOURNAMENT. HIXKS C H A M PI ON SHI P. .AUCKLAND. Jan. 12. The rinks championship at the Dominion bowling tournament commenced this morning. 'The weather was overcast with ~n strong southerly blowing, but alter several fine days the greens were last. All the 170 competing teams are required to play nine games of 21 heads at flic rate of three daily. Pest section play commences at the conclusion thereof. Three games of 21 heads each (or three hours) will he undertaken daily. In post section play the two-life system applies and the tournament committee has power to play winner against the loser should it consider such a course advisable. A team beaten twice in post section play drops out, and under the automatic draw preference of byes, where necessary, will he given to “two-lifers. Available results are:
