SCHOOL CHILDREN MUST SALUTE! DICTATOR’S PORTRAIT-
REFUSAL MEANS EXPULSION GENEVA, Jan. 12. Signor Mussolini’s latest fancy is that all school children in Italy must wear the Fascist black shirt and make the Roman salute to Mussolini’s portrait, which hangs in every schoolroom. The alternative is expulsion. Four thousand trained teachers were recently dismissed from their posts and replaced by an equal number of - Fascists.—A. and N.Z. C.A.
