OBITUARY
HON. JOHN FISHER CAMBRIDGE, Jan. 13. Jh. v The Hon. John Fisher, one of the best known pioneers of the Waikato, died this morning at his home _ at Pukerimu, where he had resided continuously for 71 years. Deceased bad been associated with practically -every local body and good object in the district. For many years he was a member of the Legislative Council until 1921. He leaves a widow, five sons and three daughters, all resident in the district. The late Mr Fisher was born in '837 - -P.A.
