The renegade, Chamberlain, whose death occurred recently, was cremated at Coburg in the presence of a distinguished gathering, including the ex-Crown Prince, who deposited the ex-Kaiser's wreath, ex-King Ferdinand, Prince Hohenlohe, and Siegned Warner. Extremist Nationalist orcramsations sent deputations. The officiating priest eulogised Chamberlain as a real enristian and a real German.
PROPOSED TEACHERS’ CONFERENCE AT GENEVA.
BRISBANE, Jan. 16
The annual conference of the Australian Teachers’ Federation endorsed a proposal that an education conference be held under the auspices of the League of Nations at Geneva.
