N.S.W. BUTTER TRADE
REDUCTION IN PRICE. KEEN COMPETITION FROM NEW ZEALAND. (Received Jan. 14, 11.25 p.m.) SYDNEY, Jan. 14. The Butter Stabilisation Committee has decided that the price of butter be reduced from Monday next to 182 s per cwt. The decrease is due to the increased output of the local factories, the result of recent rains and. the keen competition of New Zealand butjer, of which since the middle of last month 21,100 boxes have been imported into New South Wales.—U.P.A.
