WARNING BY QUEBEC STATESMEN CHANGES IN CANADA’S STATUS RESENTED (Received Jan. 14, 11.5 p.m.) QUEBEC, Jan. 14. In speeches in the Quebec Provincial Legislature Messrs Prezer, Tasehereau, and Arthur Sauve, Conservative Opposition leader, issued a warning against infringements of the rights of 'Quebec in any changes in Canada’s constitutional status which might be the outcome of the Imperial Conference. Mr Tasehereau in the course of his remarks, said: “I think fidelity to our British ties necessary for our national survival, and we should jealously watch over its preservation”—A. and N.Z.C.A.
