N Z. TOURNAMENT. FAIRS CHAMPIONSHIP. AUCKLAND, Jan. 18. The weather was dull and warm when play was resumed in the pairs bowling competition on the various city and suburban greens this morning. The last two rounds of the section play were commenced and the section ties are to be played this afternoon. Where sections have been won outright two section winners will play off to find the green winners. Only green winners go forward to post section play, which will be on the “sudden .death” principle. The draw for. the singles, which.are being resumed this afternoon, is: A. 0. Maclntyre (.two lives) plays Norrie Bell (one life); T. Walker (one life) plays A. Smellie (one life); H.
