ALLEGED ATTEMPTED INTIMIDATION-
TAUMAKUN Ul, Jan. 20. At tho Police Court to-day John Henry Blane, on a charge of discharging a firearm with intent to intimidate and annoy Andrew Russel Ait ken and Agnes Aitken at their -dwelling-house on January 11, plead od not guilty, and committed to the Supreme Court, Hamilton. tr Scr,rt. OBrien, in outlining the case, 'said that Blano went home to Rangaroa on January 11 in his motor •car and met the Aitkens two > who were on their way home, ail , after some talk, discharged » twice in their direction. He - also threatened Mr and Mrs Aitken and filed a shot, which struck then hoU 96 • Bail was allowed, self in £IOO and ■one surety of £IOO. —P.A.
