NOVELIST AND ACTRESS. STORY OF SECRET' MARRIAGE. LONDON, Jan. 7. Miss Naomi Horde-Smith, the dramatic critic and author, who received a legacy of £'sooo from Mrs. Hamil-ton-Fellows, a daughter of the late Sir Frederick Wills, of the Imperial Tobacco Co., has that she was secretly married to the American actor, Ernest Milton, who appeared in Australia in “Potash and Perlmutter. She savs she was so impressed by his acting that she was unable to forget him .She went to see him repeatedly, and finally wrote a play, in which he was able to star. It was produced at the Everyman Theatre, and they met frequently at icheat - sals.
