AUSTRALASIAN CRACKS AT WELLINGTON. LAM I? ANNEXES THREE MILE INVITATION. WELLINGTON, Jan. 20. The cream of the cycling talent of New Zealand was seen in action at the Basin Reserve last night, when the Wellington Centre of the N.Z. A.A.A. held another successful meeting. Making his second and last appearance oh the track in Wellington, R. W. Lamb, the crack Australian rider, carried oif the threemile invitation race after a most thrilling tussle. Another particularly fine finish was provided by the Canterbury champion. F. Grose, in the one-mile invitation race, in which Lamb secured third place.— P.A. '
