MAGISTRATES' COURTS.
CHRISTCHURCH. Wednesday, December 1. {Before G. L. Mellish, Esq, R.M.) Drunk and Disorderly.—Ellen Jordan, a very old offender, was charged with this offence. She had been found lying helplessly drunk in Manchester street. Sentenced to three months' imprisonment with hard labour. Annie Nugent was charged with being drunk in the theatre. The prisoner was arrested by Constable Hughes. Fined 20s and cab hire Is 6d.
