GENERAL SHERIDAN DEAD.
WIDOW TO BE VOTED A PENSION Washington, Aug. 7. General Sheridan, Commander-in-Chief of the Army, died on Sunday, aged 57. Mrs Sheridan, relict of the late General Sheridan will be voted a pension by the United States Government.
