OBITUARY. London, Aug. 28. Obituary: General Lord Alfred Paget, Equerry-in-Waiting to Her Majesty the Queen. DEMOLITION OF THE LEVIATHAN STEAMSHIP. The steamer Great Eastern has been beached in the river Mersey, prior to her demolition. THE QUEEN AT GLASGOW. During her visit to Glasgow Her Majesty was presented with a loyal address by the Freemasons of that city. A NEW DIOCESE. His Holiness the Pope has created Launceston a separate diocese of the Roman Catholic Church.
