GISBORNE HARBOR ACT, 1881, AMENDMENT ACT, 1888. EXTENSION OE BREAKWATER. T HEREBY give notice that a Poll of the Ratepayers within the Special District, constituted in terms of the above Act, actually on the Ratepayers’ 8011, will be held on WEDNESDAY, the 14th November, 1888, at the Polling Places herein under mentioned, for the purpose of obtaining the consent of a Majority (both as to Number and Value) of the said ratepayers to a proposal to expend a further sum out of Loan, of £40,000, for the purpose of extending the Breakwater, now partly constructed at Gisborne, such expenditure to be subject in all respects to the conditions prescribed and imposed by the above Act.
