It is leported that in the event of the impending attack on the rebel posit! m at Su ikin failing Great Britain will embark in a war in defence of Lower Egypt, whioh would probibly result iu the re-conqueat of the Soudan. The Dervishes are reported to be reinforced at Handoub.
