Napier, last night. Seven of the Napier horses nominated for the Poverty Bay races leave by the steamer to-morrow.
ACCEPTANCES FOR THE ANNUAL MEETING. The acceptances for the Poverty Bay Turf Club’s annual meeting arejrather disappointing, but the occurrence of other meetings on dates affect the annual local meeting is in a great measure to blame for the results. The acceptances and nominations received are as follows:— Tubanoa Stakes—-Lady Norah, Man Friday, Nora, Bit of Blue. Fibst Hurdle Handicap—Pater Oabeok, Harold, Ariel, Darnley, The Moor, Tregaagle. Flying Handicap —Lady Florin, Audacity, Kariri, Tennyson, Dancing Master, Man Friday, Turihau, Impostor. Maiden Plate (Nominations) —Bobbatt's Patchwork Byrs, Flint’s Bedford aged,Carroll’s Thyme' syrs, Davery’s Myth 4yrs, Rhodes’ Luna 4yrs, Boyle’s Tit Bit syre, Hepburn’s Turihau, Munn’s Rangipaf.
