ARRIVALS.
The ketch Zillah arrived from Timaru on Thursday afternoon. The Wareatea, from Westport, arrived in the Bay on Thursday morning, but was unable to discharge the whole of her cargo of coal into the Turakina owing to the heavy swell that was rolling into the Bay. The Maitai arrived in the Bay early yesterday morning, from South, bringing Messrs Willcocks, Lee, and Hil 1 . The schooner Gisborne arrived here yesterday morning, from Auckland via coastal ports. The schooner Waiapu returned to port yesterday morning, from Tologa, bringing 100 odd bales of wool. The schooner went alongside the Turakina, and discharged the wool into that vessel. The Wareatea came into the Bay at 6 last evening, from Oreti Point, and immediately went alongside the Turakina to discharge the balance of her cargo of coals. The Botomabana, from Sydney and Auckland, reached here at 4 o’clock yesterday afternoon, bringing—Misses Colebrook, Barton, and Holdsworth; Messrs Littler, Bull, Owen, Good, Joyce, Cox, Webb, Miller, and two natives. The Australia arrived here at 10 last night, from Auckland via coastal ports, bringing— Mrs Miller and child; Constable Hansen, and Mr Skardon. DEPARTURES. The Wareatea steamed for Oreti Point at 6 p.m. on Thursday. The Maitai went on North yesterday morning, taking Messrs Aitchinson, Barton and Boss. The Botomabana proceeded on South Shortly after 9 last night, taking—Mesdam es , Trimmer and boy, McKenzie and three ch dren, Finn and three children, Reynolds and three children; Misses Trimmer (2), Kemble, and Stewart; Messrs Black, Durney, Davis, Terrie, Schacht, Beynolds, Wheeler, Foster, and Adair. The Australia went on to Napier after discharging her cargo. IMPOSTS. Per Maitai—3s cases kerosene, 1 case, Graham, Pitt and Bennett; 11 pkgs, Pitt and Maguire; 22 pkgs, 2 trunks, 3 cases soft soap, order; 6 pkgs, Humphreys; 14 pkgs, Adair; 21 pkgs, Colebrook; 2 pkgs, J. Hall; 4 pkgs, Brown and Smaill; 1 truss, Kennedy; 20 eases, Dunlop and Bonrke; 3 cases, 1 pkg, Williams; 6 rams, Sunderland ; 1 horse, 1 buggy and harness, Pock. Per Zillah—250 sacks flour, 54 sacks bran, 20 seeks wheat, 100 lOOlb-sacks flour, 780 flOlb-sacks flour. Per Gisborne—soo pieces timber, 150 spokes, Humphreys; 6000 pieces timber, 200 pipes, 3 casks, 9 bales wool, Johnston; 6 cases iron, Wingate, Burns and Co.; 2 tons of coal, 500 palings, 4000 pieces timber, Sheet ; 4000 pieces timber, Townley; 14 bales wool, L and M Co.; 1 piano, Major Porter. EXPORTS, Per Maitai—B6 bags seed, 1 case, Graham, Pitt and Bennett; 2 kegs powder, Wingate, Burns and Co.; 65 sacks grass seed, Hall. The Ohau left Napier at 8 last evening and arrives hare early thia morning. Last launch at 6 s.m. The ship Turakina clears at the Customs this morning for London. The vessel will probably sail during the afternoon. The Wareatea leaves for Napier at 4 o’clock this afternoon. The Waihora arrives in the roadstead on Monday morning, from Melbourne via Southern ports. The last launch goes off at 8 a.m.
