SHE TRIES TO ENLIST AS A SOLDIER. London, March 7. The escapade of a spirited female has attracted much attention. Her name is Miss Muir, an actress, and she is the daughter of a New Zealand squatter. She dressed in male attire, and attempted to enlist as a soldier. She was at once arrested, but when brought up before the Court was discharged, at the request of her friends.
