Hospital Trustees.

ESTIMATED DEFICIT-PROSPECT OF A POOR BATE. A rpboiai, meeting of the Hospital Trustees was held last night, Present: Messrs Cole, man (in the chair), Tucker, Lucas, Dunlop, Harris, Nolan, and Watson. The Secretary submitted a statement shewing the estimated and actual receipts and expenditure for tbe year ending March 31st 1889. The receipts were £1,007 5s 2J, being £lOO less than the amount estimated. The expenditure was £972 9s 4d, leaving a balance of £34 15s 2d to tbe credit of the institution. The estimates for the ensuing year were carefully considered and revised, the estimated expenditure for the year being £1,144, and the estimated receipts £544, leaving a deficiency of £6OO, for the half of which, namely £BOO, a claim will be made on the Charitable Aid Board at its first mealing.
