Strange Deaths.

Blenheim, last night. A sudden death oooured at Tuakarika last night, Peter Morris a highly educated remittance men died from asthma. He has a brother in India, a Lieut. Colonel in the 60th Rifles.

A man named Michael Dowling died to-day while undergoing an operation for cancer at the hospital. He bad chloroform against advice, Dr. Cleghorn operated, and Dr, Navin administered the chloroform, but before the operation was over the patient suddenly ceased to breathe.
