A Christchurch telegram of Saturday states ;—The annual meeting of the Fenners’ Co-operative Association of Canterbury was held to-day. The balance-sheet abound the net profit for the year as £7150 12s Id. Adding the balance brought forward from last year (£lOO3 10s 7d) tho total amount to be dealt with is £8154 Ils Bd. Tho directors propose tho usual dividend of seven p>.r cent and a bouu* of four per cent, on oaled-up capital, also a bonus of four per oait. on shareholder's purchases and; merohandise during the year. They also propose t> write twenty per cent, off the items of machinery aud office furniture, and to add to the reserve fund £l3OO, the balance to be carried forward. The directors propose a furthw issue of 3000 new shares at a premium lot half-a-crown, the premium to be added tn th* reserve fund.
