She was taken up the Taruhern river at 3 p.m. to discharge her cargo at the works. IMPORTS. TELEGRAPHIC. Auckland, Tuesday. Bailed —Australia, at 6.30 p.m., for Gisb»rne. Arrived—Mararoa, at 11.45 a.m., from Gisborne. —Rotomahana, at 9.15 a.m., from Sjdney, with Brindisi mail. Pobt Chumebs, Tuesday. Arrived—Waihora, at 7.45 a.m., from Bins. Bluff, yesterday. Arrived—Lindas, at 12.30 p.m., from Melbourne, with English mail. The Australia arrives here from Auckland and coast ports this afternoon. She goes on south after discharging her cargo, the last launch leaving the wharf at 5 o’clock. The Rotomahana leaves Auckland at about two to-day, and will arrive here early to. morrow afternoon. She continues her passage south in ths evening, the last launch leaving the wharf at 5 p.m. The Southern Cross arrives here early tomorrow morning, from Wellington and Napier. Ths last launch leaves at 7 a.m. A heavy sea was breaking on the bar yesterday, and when the steamer Fairy was being brought into tha river by the harbor master she grounded several times. The Steamer's boat oapzied on the bar and the bow was stove in by the propeller. Both the steamers Centennial and Ringaroome have arrived in Sydney from New Zealand.
