Smith and Mitchell have both ohallengsd Sullivan to fight them for the championship.

In a London letter, just to hand, referring to tho above fight, the writer states *. —" According to latest advices tho longponding match between Sullivan and Kilrain has been definitely fixed for the Sth of July, but I am quite prepared to hear that it ended in a fizzle. Kilrain however seems to think it will not, he evidently does not like the prospect, not that I think bo for one moment funks meeting Sullivan, but he says tho climate of Now Orleans in June is killing, end that the prospect of fair play depends—as he puts it—on who has the strongest eorner. Kilrain is a very unassuming fellow, and will make friends whatever he goes, as he has not a sign of blow about him.”
