WELLINGTON R.C. MEETING, Wellington, last night. It is raining heavily, and the Stewards meet to-morrow morning to consider the advisability of postponing the raoes. The course is yery heavy, and tho going will be dead against the top weights, and some rare turns up may ba expected. AU the horsea engaged at tha meeting (with the exception of Aloinous, who is not likely to come) have now arrived, and it ia quite certain that the great event of the day—the Wellington Steeplechase—will bring out a good field, and produce an interesting raoe. The following are “ Vigilant's ” tips for the meeting Trial Steeplechase i —Detainer 1, Exchange 2. Handicap Hardies Chemist 1, Waterfall 2, Louise 3.
