Charitable Aid Dispensation.
We occasionally receive communications on the subject of the dispensation of charitable aid, end we are glad tn know that our full report of the last meeting of the Charitable Aid Board has bean of much service in this matter, The officer whose duty it is to enquire into these matters has a very difficult and delicate task, but cases of imposition would be completely guarded against if the taxpayers, who have to bear the burden, were always to eommunloats with Mr McKay if they are aware of any undeserving eass* being ireawd. “ J.T.," in a l s » Wr te f ßrria g s I? 6 E’t*’-' last meeting h? lb* QBBorne Charitable Aid Board, about ten days ago, there was a certain name monHoned, and cne member said that this man's ease was a very deserving one.
