A NEGRO RIOT.

THE TOWN OF BIRMINGHAM FIRED. Washington, Sept. 29. A negro riot occurred at the Pratt Mines in consequence of a white man murdering a negress.

In revenge for the murder, the negroes fired the town of Birmingham, in Pennsylvania.

A force of military has been despatched to the sasne of the occurrence.
