D»an Hnvell briefly acknowledged the vote, and said it was his mnst earnest wish that by God's blessing he might he of greater service to the Diooese in future than he had heen in the past, and it would be his aim and endeavor to serve in hia new office as the humble minister of Jesus Christ, The Synod having deci led that there he four Canons and two lav members, the B'«hop nomi tated an! appointed, with the ronourre'-oe of the Synod, Archdeacon S. Wil Hams and Rev. J. E. Fox as Canons, and Mr J. Thornton as lay member, The Synod nommatod. and the B'Shon appointed, Archdeacon W. L. Williams and Rev, H. W. S. Hill as Canons, and Mr J. B, Fielder as lay member. The members having joined in the Gloria in Exoe'e's," the President pronounced the Benedjqtion, and the Synod adjourned.
