A Fire—Narrow Escapes.

(VBOM OUB OWN COBUSPONDXXT.) Naeibb, last night. About twenty minutes past two this morning Mrs Pbyell’s boarding house, Carlyle Street, was burned down. The building was a two storied one, and some of Um inmates had a narrow escape of their lives, losing ail their clothing, and merely getting away in their night qlothes and blankets. The build* ing belonged to Mr Bobjohns. and was unina sured. The furniture was insured for £BOO in the New Zealand Office. Tbs origin 4 the fire is unknown.
