THE VOGEL OF NEW SOUTH WALES.
SQUANDERERS AND LIBELLERS. London, November 18. An ex-member of the Legislature of New South Wales writes to the Economist stating that if the colony ceased borrowing she would be unable to meet her engagemeuts, while if she continued borrowing she would make default in tbe payment of interest. The writer terms Sir Henry Parkes “ tha Vogel of New South Wales.”
