The Captain and the Bailiff.
THE MARINER GETS A RASP, (FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.) CaßtsTcauFcs. last night. At the Lyttelton R.M. Court to-day John Wilson, Master of the ketch Minnie, was fined £t and costs £4 2s for running away with the vessel, which was in charge of the bailiff. On remonstrance by the bitiliff he picked up an axe and said “ If you don't get out of this I will split your skull open.”
