A meeting ot the Union Rowing Club was held on Wednesday (says the H.B. Herald), when a letter was read from the Secretary of the Napier Bowing Club declining to row the Union this season, but hoping to meet them on some future occasion. Owing to these expected matches not coming off the members of the Union decided to arrange some trial tours amongst their own members, for trophies, nod over 30 entries were meds nt the meeting, which will make five otew* to eempaie.,
