Tse Gisborne Rowing Club has been holding a series of handicap single scull matches, on the Turanganui river. The results so far are:— T. Simms, lOst, beat G. Johnstone, 6st 12! ba. E. Parnell, sat 21bs, beat J. Morgan, 7st 6lbs. F. Teat, lOst, beatE. Spurdie, lOst 71bs. E. Lewis, 7st 41 bs, beat O. Rosie, sst. F. Clayton, list 41bs, beat E. J. Cbrisp, Sat 41bs. G. Bourn, list 41bs, beat F. O'Meara, 7st. The series of matches continue this afternoon.
