At a meeting of the Whataupoko Road Board on Tuesday afternoon it was decided to give £3O for timber for culverts on the Matiokiki Road, the settlers to provide the labor within one month. It was also decided to form (Sievwright Street, and to make a footpath in Stout Street. At the Police Court yesterday Mr L. Bees said that he had advised Mr Laverock to withdraw his application for a reinstatement of the case against him. In the case John Morris v. E. Thomson, for killing a dog, and an application for sureties of the peace, Mr Cbrisp appeared for the prosecution, and Mr Skeet for defendant. The case was again adjourned, £2 3s being allowed as costs. In the case J. Gordon v. T. Smith, a further adjournment was granted for six weeeks,
