WANGANUI J.C. STEEPLECHASE MEETING. The following are the results of the above race meeting :— Steeplechase —Sir Garnet 1, Oddfellow 2, Orient 3. Sir Garnet led all the way, but bad a desperate finish with Oddfellow, winning by a length. Time 6m 52}s. Dividends, £4 3s, and £3 Ils, Flying Handicap—Montrose 1, Bonlanger 2, Eileen 3. Montrose led most of the way, and won by half a length. Dividend, £3 19s. DUNEDIN J.C. WINTER MEETING. The weather for the above meeting was cold and threatening. A steady downpour made the course heavy going. The attendance is satisfactory. The following are the results Hurdles—Ahua 1, Trimolite 2, Modeste 3. Erebus and Waitangi also started, the latter falling at the last hurdle but one. Won by a length. Dividends, £1 17s 64, and £1 16s Id. Maiden Plate—Belvidere 1, Golden Hope 2, Dunville3. Won by a length. Dividends, £2 15s, and £2 St.

Birthday Handicap—Blizzard 1, Wolverine 2, Mon Loup 3. Two others started. Blizzard led into the straight, when Wolverine got his nose in front, and a great race took place, Blizzird winning by a neok. Dividends, £1 163, and £ll2s Gd.
