The following are the details of the running for the above eventMr A. W. Merry's Suref aot, 1; Baron de Rothschild's Le Nord, 2; D ike of Westminster's Blue Green, 3 Six others started. B tting: sto 4 agst Surefoot, 15 to 8 ags'. Lt Nord, 100 to 6 agst Blue Green. Barefoot made all the running, and won most easily by a length anti a half. Ls Nord had to be bustled along to keep his place before half the distance had been covered, and could never get on terms. Once fairly in the dip, Surefoot waa allowed bis head, and he fairly romped up tbs hill, tbs easiest of winners. Five lengths behind La Nord there was a goad race for third honors, end thia ended in favor of Blue Green by a neck. Time, Im. 49£s. Value of the ract, £4,100.
