Ls Nord had to be bustled along to keep his place before half the distance had been covered, and could never get on terms. Once fairly in the dip, Surefoot waa allowed bis head, and he fairly romped up tbs hill, tbs easiest of winners. Five lengths behind La Nord there was a goad race for third honors, end thia ended in favor of Blue Green by a neck. Time, Im. 49£s. Value of the ract, £4,100.
