A. few days ago a resident of Seymour received a communication from a Melbourne firm, of which the following is a fair copy :— ‘ Dear sir,—May we call your attention to the fact that you are indebted to us for twelve and sixpence for over twelve months. If you could kindly forward us half a crown on account we would be glad to accept monthly instalments of two shillings for balance. Apologising for trouble, we are, dear sir,[yours most respecifully. Blank and Co,"
