FOOTBALL.
As there is certain to be a clashing in connection with the matches if tbe dates suggested by the Napier team! are adopted, Mr Staite has communicated with the Napier secretary, to try and satisfaotorily arrange matters. Nothing definite has yet been decided on, but it is probable tbat the big match in which tbe two representative fifteens meet will be fixed for August 9th, and 1 hat tha Turanganui-Piratea match will come oS nt Napier on the date originally fixed.
