The Whataupoko Road Burd mot on Tuesday afternoon. Accounts were passed for payment as follows:—Rice £3 6s, J. Chute £8 ss, Peryer 17s Cd, McLsod £52, Munro £2 12s, Gisborne Standard £1 18s 91, Petty Cash £1 2s Id. The following tenders were received for catting 100 chains of drains on M&ugapapt:—G. Rice and Co. (accepted) 4; lOd per chain ;J. Burke, 5s 01; Perryer and Co., C-i; J. S. Stndd, 61 51; A. Robert, son, 7s 61 j H. Grayham, 8s Cd ; McGiven and Co , (declined) 8s lOd. Tenders for tbe supply of 150 yards of gravel were received from :—A. J. O'Neil, 3s per yard j P. McLoughlin, (Inclined) 3i 3d. Mr O'Neil attached a proviso for extra time. The Board decided that the tender could only bo accepted in terms of the specifications.
